Missing Link Running Club
The Missing Link Running Club is the accountability partner you need for the workouts that are hard to tackle solo. We meet at venues across the Twin Cities and design every session with options for both new and experienced runners.
See what the club is all about
If you are wondering what it feels like to show up, you are in good company. We built this club around consistent effort, encouragement, and room for every pace. You can read runner stories to hear how people found their rhythm, then view club photos to get a feel for the routes, terrain, and community.
Weekly schedule
- Mondays and Wednesdays: Theodore Wirth Park for strength and mobility plus trail-focused intervals that build climbing, descending, and technical running skills.
- Saturdays: Long run day. We rotate through parks around the metro, regroup at least once, and split into pace groups when helpful.
Arrive a few minutes early so we can get oriented, and bring water plus trail-friendly shoes. In fall and winter, a headlamp helps for evening sessions.
The run club is free to all and welcoming regardless of skill level, income, race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation.
Communication
Day-to-day run details, trail updates, carpools, and race chatter all happen in our WhatsApp group.
We’d love to have you in the chat. Sign in and the private WhatsApp link will appear here.
Pay What You Can, If You Can
We follow an NPR-style support model: the club stays free for everyone, and members who are able can chip in to keep things running. If you can contribute, give what works for your budget. If you cannot right now, keep showing up and running with us. You can support the club at any time on the support page.
